The Newport CCCU (3CU as we tend to say) has been in existence for over 100 years, and is one of the oldest in the denomination.  When people think of the Newport CCCU, they quickly think of Joe Johnson, bus trips to the roller skating rink, and more.

While it's easy to dwell on the glory days, we choose to dwell on what God wants to do today and in the future.  While the pandemic has caused much disruption, we are excited to see what the days ahead hold for our small country congregation.  

While many of our ministries have been put on hold, we strive to remain a beacon of hope and truth in the midst of the chaos.  We are anticipating restarting some of our ministries that had been put on hold since the Spring of 2020 soon.  We are trying to make wise decisions and navigate our course very carefully during these times of uncertainty.  

It is our hope that you will come to visit and maybe even make the Newport CCCU your home!
